The Federal Government says the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu, Southeast Nigeria, will be converted to a full-fledged University of Allied Health Sciences.
In a statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Ajuri Ngelale, titled, ‘President Tinubu approves upgrade of Federal College of Dental Technology to University’, made available to newsmen on Thursday, the approval was given by President Bola Tinubu.
It read, “Consequently, the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy in Enugu will now be known as the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu, and will be domiciled under the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare,”
The approval comes nearly one month after he was named African Union Champion for Human Resources for Health and Community Health Delivery Partnership.
