The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, Southwest Nigeria, has embarked on a community awareness campaign in Noforija and Matakobi T-junction in the Epe area of the state.The spokesperson for the agency, Adejoke Ladenegan-Oginni.
The areas visited include Ajijola Anobi Mosque, Imokun Community Central mosque; Celestial Church of Christ – Apata Ayeraye Model Parish; GO Hospital, Emes Nur/Pry School; UPE Primary School, Scholars International School; Redeemed Christian Church of God; More Blessing Society Mosque and Union of Tipper Employer of Nigeria, among others.
The agency had earlier announced the induction of 201 students, drawn from 20 schools in Education District 6, into the Kings and Queens Club to make them serve as peer educators in the fight against sexual-related crimes in the state.
