Something is happening to my dad and I think is not normal. My mom thinks it’s spiritual but I think my dad needs to have his head checked because all is not well.
Out of nowhere, my dad came to tell my mom that he was bringing home a second wife. They’ve been married for twenty -six years.
After a long flight with my mom, he brought the woman home to meet my mother. The woman is thirty-seven years old with three children. My mom got infuriated and said no. My dad and my mom have two children in their tweni-six years old marriage. It was my dad who said he wouldn’t like another child.
Out of anger, my dad walked out of the house and didn’t come back again until weeks later. He went out to rent a new place for this lady and her young kids and stayed there with her. Within those weeks, he went to the lady’s house to do knocking and promise marriage in no time.
Our home was breaking apart because of dad’s indiscretion. Mom has been crying nonstop. She talks to me like she’s talking to someone who can save her from what she’s going through. I gathered courage and spoke to my dad about the situation. He told me “it’s your mom who doesn’t want to understand. This is a simple issue.”
My dad has a friend he confides in. This friend is also a friend to my mom so whatever my dad tells him, he comes to tell my mom. According to this friend, the lady is still in contact with the father of her third child. My dad has caught and guy several times in the house he rented for this lady. You might think that would make my dad change his mind but no. He’s still madly in love with this lady.
The lady is currently pregnant and has named my dad as the man responsible. This is a woman who sleeps with other men, including the father of her lastborn. My dad is aware of all these yet agreed when he was told he was responsible. No be juju be that?
My dad’s friend, the one he confides in drew my dad’s attention to the other men in the lady’s life. He told him “why accept when there are other men?” According to the man, my dad responded, “Hmmmm,I don’t know. Maybe I will do a DNA after the child is delivered. If it turns out that the child is not mine, I will ask her to give the child to one responsible so we can continue our marriage. From there, I will be very strict on her.”
Do you see why I think he needs to have his head checked? I don’t mean it as insult but the truth. My mom has intensified prayers, moving from one prayer came to another trying to pray my dad out of the situation. Honestly, I don’t care about him and what he goes through. It’s my mom’s sanity I care about since my dad is all she has.
She believes my dad is under a strong spell. She tells me wherever she has gone, they tell my dad’s will is buried under the sea where eyes can’t see and hands can’t reach.
I’M MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY DAMAGED BECAUSE OF WHAT HE DID
I’m here asking help for my mother. Some should show me where she can get instant help. She’s restless and unhappy. Always thinking and praying. It breaks my heart to see her go through all that.
