Morocco will host the 4th International Conference on Public Health in Africa in 2024, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced on Thursday.
The choice of the Kingdom to host this international conference is the fruit of a partnership between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) and the African Union, the ministry pointed out in a press release.
This joint initiative demonstrates the commitment of key players to improving health care in Africa, the same source noted, adding that in line with the High Guidelines of HM King Mohammed VI, the conference is a privileged meeting for sharing expertise and exploring innovative solutions to the continent’s health challenges.
Bringing together global experts, health professionals, researchers and decision-makers, this event will provide a unique platform to discuss current public health issues, share knowledge and develop innovative solutions to complex health challenges in Africa, the press release concluded.
