Mansard has strengthened its collaboration with the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) to increase awareness and prevent domestic and sexual violence against children through grassroots sensitisation across Lagos. The Nation reports that the initiative is part of the 2026 AXA Week for Good campaign.
The programme will see AXA Mansard volunteers conduct door-to-door awareness visits in six communities, while the DSVA provides training and technical support. According to The Nation, the campaign seeks to educate parents, caregivers and community leaders on recognising abuse, reporting incidents and promoting safer parenting.
Chief Marketing Officer, Adebola Surakat, said the focus on families is driven by findings showing that many abuse cases involve people known to children. She added that the company remains committed to supporting child protection through sustained advocacy and employee volunteering.
DSVA Executive Secretary, Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, said ending domestic and sexual violence requires continuous public education and joint efforts by government, businesses and communities to protect vulnerable children.
